Magwa Falls drops about 142 metres into a narrow gorge in the middle of the Magwa Tea Estate, just outside Lusikisiki. The estate is a working tea plantation of roughly 1,800 hectares, and the tea rows run up to the edge of the canyon. It is one of the few Wild Coast waterfalls you can drive to, about eight kilometres off the main road and under an hour from Port St Johns.
Northern dirtbike and 4x4 routes that run toward Port St Johns and Msikaba pass Lusikisiki. The falls sit inland of the beach track, so they are a detour rather than a coastal stop, and the tea estate is the reason the road is there.
